Dust World Expo is an annual wargaming convention based around games set within the World of Dust framework. Originally it was hosted within Vul-Con but when that was cancelled, the Southwest Dust Devils spun it out to be its own event, held at Imperial Outpost Games, with the game's creator, Paolo Parente, flying out from China to attend. As of year two, it became unique in that the host location became an actual military establishment, Falcon Field in Mesa, a commercial airport that became a Royal Air Force training field during World War II. The event was in the Arizona Wing of the Commemorative Air Force Museum housed there. However, it moved back to Imperial Outpost in 2017. The website has vanished, but there's a Facebook event for 2017. |
